Pair a device from Apple Home

    In Apple Home, on your iPhone or this Mac, open the device and tap Settings (the gear).
  2. 2
    Scroll down and tap Turn On Pairing Mode, then Copy Code. The code works for 15 minutes.

    Paste the code here and pick the room. You can add the next device while this one pairs.

No Bluetooth needed. Thread devices pair through your Thread border routers (eero, HomePod, Apple TV), so the Mac must be on the same network.
